Getting a Utility Patent

Posted on November 23rd, by Aric1 in Blog. No Comments

Wow! Getting a patent is no easy thing. The entire process takes years, and thousands of dollars. Our decision to seek legitimate IP protection was not a light one. We partnered with a local law firm and started the journey to patent ownership. This journey so far has been enlightening and, it has taken a lot of work to get to the point where we have a filed patent application. There were so many meetings with lawyers and sessions fleshing out diagrams and descriptions. It was exhaustive work, but throughout the process we thought of all of the possible applications to our technology so we could cover them in the patent. Through our continued research and development we realized that the potential for our technology far exceeded the world of art alone. ZGC has product innovations in a number of industries and markets. But before we develop all of our potential we must first have our patent in hand. In addition to the purely artistic we will be expanding our products to include custom Glass Faucets and custom glass tap handles.

There is no other product on the market like our faucets or Beer Tap handles and we plan to show these fantastic new products all over the country, and eventually the world. We really believe that we can do things that no one else can and we have many beautiful ways to show you how.
